Will we get the benefit of Hinds' sight for education?

Just as one Damian departs the Cabinet, in comes another one - and this time as Education Secretary. Damian Hinds picks up the brief but is his heart really in the job? See what the Independent says here.
Here's an interesting one. Apparently there are 29 stand-alone academies that are paying their leaders in excess of £150,000. Of these, 13 are at risk of getting into financial difficulty. DfE is refusing to name them because it does not want them placed under "undue pressure" and says they need a "safe space". Considering that DfE now wants single-status academies to join MATs, what better excuse does DfE need for saying they are uneconomic an must join a MAT?
