Governors' Association throughout Hull and East Riding (GAtHER)

We are an independent non-profit organisation, funded solely by our member schools and academies. We have a small Executive Council of experienced governors who are active in supporting governing boards in the ways listed below. If you are a governor in a school or academy, here on our website you will find information to help you in carrying out your very important role. Check the Resources tab for downloadable materials; the Forum tab for engaging in discussion on topics important to Governors and the News tab for the latest local and national news on governance. If your school or academy is not yet a GAtHER member, click the Join GAtHER tab, fill in the short form and we’ll do the rest.
